When you have nothing to say...

I've been struggling with what to write on the blog recently. I think it started after the blog post Natural Self, where I felt like I had something really important to say, and it was very well-received. However now I feel like nothing I have to say is as significant. I want to show you all my style and my outfit pictures, but I think that most of you also appreciate that I type down a line or two about something...

Dress: Pepaloves (old)
Tights: Asos (here)
Flats: Asos (old)

As I don't really have much to say, I'll talk about this dress. Do you sometimes see a dress and fall in love with it because of one little detail? That's what happened to me with this one from Pepaloves. The scalloped edges just make me so happy and I love how it's made a fairly standard drop-waisted dress extraordinary. Speaking of details... I also love love love these tights with hearts on it. I'd seen them around and I just think the heart print is so cute, so adding it to tights - Yes please!

If you have any suggestions on things you'd like to read on the blog please feel free to leave a comment.

Much love!

    1. Oh Thank you so much Beth. You're making me feel better :D You're right though, a bit of lightness with the seriousness is nice. You are the sweetest lovely lady <3
Thanks, it's such a nice shade of pink. It's not too out there pink (which I love at times), but more a sort of mellow pink.

  3. Hello, Mona! This dress is really cute, I love scalloped edges on clothes too. Low waist dresses can be hard to pull off, but it looks great on you! And that bun is really cute :D
I love both significant posts (just as the ones you did about your Natural Self, but, of course, light-hearted posts are also very nice to read!

    1. Julia, thank you! Scalloped edges are so cute. I have a pair of shorts that are scalloped and I looove them so much. It's such a small detail but it adds so much!
I was really nervous about this one and it's low waist, I usually wear quite high waists, but it was too cute to pass. Thank you darling! <3
I will keep that in mind, and thank you so much for your comment. It made me feel better about my blog <3

  6. That dress is such a cutie (so are you)!
I know how that feels sometimes, when you post quite regularly that sometimes you're just hit with the ol' writers' block. If it helps, I really don't mind reading about your work as a cancer researcher or any other sciency stuff that you might enjoy - or you know, books you love to read ;)

Exactly how I felt. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I've just started the cancer series and plan on posting it once a week for a while, and then other science-y stuff might come up too. And thank you so much for the idea about books. Darling, thanks for the feedback, it really helps.
